The University of Indonesia (UI) has announced further developments in its handling of allegations of verbal sexual violence within the Faculty of Humanities (FHUI). Based on an Internal Memo on the Investigation Follow-Up Plan (RTLP) from the UI Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPK), dated April 15, 2026, the Task Force officially recommended the temporary suspension of student status for the 16 reported students.
The alleged sexual harassment case involving a student at the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia (FH UI) has been in the public spotlight in recent days.
