- NetEase Games announced that Season 9.5 launches this Friday, August 7, introducing the new Vanguard hero Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood.
- Following storage optimizations in previous seasons, Season 9.5 reduces file sizes by around 40 GB on PC and around 15 GB on PS5 and XBOX without sacrificing visual fidelity.
- Six new swimsuit skins for Star-Lord, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, Storm, Black Cat, and Magik arrive in Marvel Rivals during the Summer Festival Vol. 2 event next week.
- NetEase has not confirmed pricing for the new swimsuit skins, though past Summer Special Premium Pass items cost 990 Lattice, or roughly $10, while individual skins cost 2,200 Lattice, or around $22.
- The Hood utilizes Demonic Energy to shift between human and half-demon states, transforming his arms into rapid-fire rifles while supporting teammates with shields and entering a full demon state.
