BGN Suspends Fuel Supply and Distribution Services in Semarang After 707 People Were Poisoned by MBG
A total of 707 people from State Vocational School 6 Semarang are suspected of experiencing MBG poisoning on Friday, July 31, 2026.
JPNN.com - SEMARANG - Head of the National Nutrition Agency Sudaryono apologized to hundreds of students at SMKN 6 Semarang, Central Java, who were suspected of being poisoned by the Free Nutritious Meal menu.
Head of BGN Sudaryono emphasized his commitment to implementing a zero tolerance policy towards food safety incidents. All Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) are required to strictly comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs). The kitchen head has full responsibility in ensuring that all procedures are carried out with discipline.
BGN Head Sudaryono immediately suspended the MBG kitchen in Semarang and emphasized that the investigation team is currently still working to investigate the cause of the poisoning incident.
