Malaysians advised to halt non-essential travel to Middle East: Foreign ministry
The ministry also urged Malaysians to adhere strictly to instructions from local authorities, shelter in place if advised, and continuously monitor the official social media pages of their respective Malaysian diplomatic missions.
Following the US-Israeli attack on Iran and the resulting escalation of the situation in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs advises against non-essential travel to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. Many Slovenians are stranded in the region and are already contacting the competent services for help.
The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia warns that the situation in the Middle East, including the Gulf states, is currently extremely unpredictable and security-related.
