THE 35th anniversary of the collapse of the defense of that suburban settlement was marked today by the laying of wreaths and lighting of candles at the Memorial Cross in the Vukovar settlement of Lužac.
On this day, November 2, 1991, during the occupation of the Vukovar settlement of Lužac, 59 of its inhabitants, mostly civilians, were killed. No one was punished for this crime.
