A rally in support of TV Informer was held in front of the headquarters of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM) in Belgrade this morning, while the REM Council initiated proceedings against this television station at its session for offensive comments and the broadcast of a state documentary.
The council of REM made a decision to initiate proceedings against TV Informer, and supporters of that media house gathered in front of the building where the meeting is held.
The Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM) has initiated proceedings against Informer television. As reported by Danas, this was done due to offensive comments made against Zoran Gavrilović and REM Council member Rodoljub Šabić, as well as for broadcasting a state-run documentary during the show "Kolegijum".
At the session, the investigative procedure against Kurir television was launched, whose representatives were invited to attend the next session of the Council, writes Danas. The proceedings against TV Informer were initiated following a report by Zoran Gavrilović, and refer to insulting comments made against him and REM Council member Rodoljub Šabić.
