Due to a severe drought and the cessation of the possibility of pumping water from the Banja spring, numerous settlements in the wider Vrgorac area have been left without regular water supply. The Vrgorac utility company has announced a drinking water supply schedule for the weekend, and the Ministry of Defense has confirmed that the Croatian Armed Forces will also be involved in helping citizens.
The armed forces will ensure the transport of water to settlements in the wider city area, and the decision was made at the request of the local administration.
