Telus: Q3 Earnings Snapshot
Telus said adjusted earnings missed estimates as it targets about $900 million in annualized cash savings by the end of 2028.
On Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, Telus Corp. reported a $660-million net loss in its third quarter, though its $3.59 billion in revenue beat Wall Street forecasts.
The company took an $800-million non-cash impairment charge related to Telus Health, which was "due to updated growth expectations, broader market conditions," Telus said.
Wireless business revenue grew one per cent, with 84,000 net new mobile customers added, while long-term debt stood at $25.9-billion, down about 5 per cent.
Telus CEO Victor Dodig announced a plan targeting annualized cash savings of about $900 million by 2028, stating the business will be "better positioned to deliver sustainable, profitable growth and long-term shareholder value."
This quarter marks another setback for Telus, which has suffered a 27-per-cent share-price slide this year, following a $2.1-billion impairment charge for its Telus Digital unit last quarter.
