Max Kownatzki has taken over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eurowings, a German carrier, having previously served as the CEO of the Turkish airline SunExpress. Sun Express and Eurowings will expand their codeshare cooperation to a total of 13 routes starting on Tuesday. For the first time, Eurowings will market connecting flights from Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Berlin under the flight number of Sun Express, as the airlines announced. The expansion will include eight new European cities and will provide passengers with more flexible connections between Europe and Turkey.
