The European Commission will present its new proposal to strengthen the EU border guard agency Frontex next week. The Greens are deeply concerned about what is known about it so far, including Dutch MEP Tineke Strik (PRO). She warns in advance of a violation of EU law and human rights if Frontex is given a stronger role in deporting rejected asylum seekers to countries outside the EU.
