TRINITY — A teenager was injured over the weekend in an accidental shooting by a 6-year-old which occurred at state Rep. Ernie Yarbrough's residence, authorities said.

An Alabama state lawmaker’s child was injured in an accidental shooting by a 6-year-old Saturday evening in Trinity, according to Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Brian Covington.
