Veszprém reached the quarterfinals of the Men's Handball Champions League after drawing 35-35 at PSG's home ground in the second leg of the playoff.
Sporting and Vespzrem handball players have qualified for the quarterfinals of the Champions League. Despite a 27:28 defeat in the return match, the Portuguese team eliminated the Polish Wisla Plock of Slovenian handball players Mitja Janc and Miha Zarabec. Veszprem of Gašper Marguč drew 35:35 with PSG in Paris.
