Report: Micah Parsons Targets Thanksgiving Eve Return
The Packers plan a cautious ramp-up for Micah Parsons, with individual drills next week and team drills after that before a possible Nov. 25 return.
- Green Bay Packers linebacker Micah Parsons is targeting the Thanksgiving Eve game against the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 25 for his season debut, NFL Network reported Saturday.
- Parsons sustained a torn ACL and meniscus in his left knee in Week 15 last season and underwent reconstructive surgery on Dec. 29, 2025, sidelining him for the entire 2026 campaign.
- The Packers plan to open a 21-day practice window next week, with Parsons beginning individual drills before progressing to team sessions the following week, barring setbacks.
- Parsons' return would bolster a Green Bay defense that leads the NFL with 22 sacks, providing critical reinforcement during the season's stretch run.
- After Green Bay's bye week in Week 11, the Packers will prepare for the Nov. 25 contest at SoFi Stadium, occurring approximately 11 months post-surgery.
