The Saudi Ministry of Interior has revealed four penalties awaiting those who violate Hajj regulations, with the exception of those holding a Hajj visa to perform the ritual. One of these penalties can be as much as 100,000 Saudi riyals and a 10-year ban from entering Saudi Arabia.

The General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars reiterated the Council of Senior Scholars' statement dated Shawwal 12, 1445 AH, regarding the necessity of obtaining a permit for those wishing to perform Hajj.
