Schneider Electric Debuts One Digital Grid Platform to Help Utilities Modernize and Address Energy Costs

Schneider Electric launched the One Digital Grid Platform at paired events in Bilbao and Las Vegas to help utilities modernize, with the platform available globally starting today.
To meet this pressure, modeling shows the nation must add 1,000–2,000 TWh per decade, while Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Research Institute reported grid instability costs U.S. businesses billions.
Built on EcoStruxure ADMS, DERMS and ArcFM, the platform uses AI-based network model tuning and real-time data to align digital models with field conditions and runs on Microsoft Azure with integrated Azure services.
The study showed that composite utilities customers using Schneider Electric’s ADMS reported a 160% ROI, $62 million in benefits, and a 16-month payback period, with operational gains including 20% less outage penalties and 65% time savings for control room operators.
New AI features include Estimated Time of Restoration and AiDASH, while a Grid AI Assistant in EcoStruxure ADMS supports real-time troubleshooting; launches reached Enlit Europe attendance and Innovation Summit North America attendance .
