One study examined over a hundred cases in which passengers stumbled on the stairs of a Boeing 737 of the Ryanair company.
The Italian aviation safety authority ANSV has recorded a higher frequency of falls from the front retractable steps of Boeing B-737 aircraft, which are used almost exclusively by Ryanair. The study was reported today by the Corriere della Sera newspaper. The authority points out that the proportion of falls from these steps significantly exceeds Ryanair's share of air traffic at Italian airports.
