A new phase has been reached in the process of delivering the ÇAKIR Cruise Missile, developed with national capabilities, to the Turkish Land Forces. The procurement contract was signed by the Head of the Defense Industry, Haluk Görgün, and the General Manager of ROKETSAN, Murat İkinci.
A contract for the supply of the ÇAKIR cruise missile was signed between the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) and ROKETSAN to strengthen the strike capabilities of the Land Forces Command. Developed with the contribution of approximately 200 companies, ÇAKIR can also be fired from the KARA ATMACA Weapon System.

The Head of the Defense Industry, Haluk Görgün, announced the signing of the ÇAKIR Project Procurement Contract, aimed at improving the strategic offensive capabilities of the Land Forces. Görgün stated that deliveries of the BORA and TAYFUN ballistic missiles are ongoing, and emphasized that deterrence is being further enhanced with the ÇAKIR and KARA ATMACA cruise missiles.
