Zillow Predicts Home Sales to Jump in 2025 as Mortgage Rates Fall

House prices in Belgium are expected to rise by an average of 3 percent in 2025 and 3.8 percent in 2026, according to the latest ING real estate barometer. In real terms, if inflation is also taken into account, this represents an increase of 0.9 percent and 1.8 percent respectively. The number of transactions is also expected to increase again, now that many buyers see that interest rates will not fall any further.

In reële termen, als ook de inflatie wordt meegerekend, gaat het om een stijging met respectievelijk 0,9 procent en 1,8 procent.
