After his release after two days in detention for a complaint of alleged aggression against his former partner, Mr Juli n P rez claimed that he was innocent and announced that he would be able to legislate in favour of women.

Juntos' deputy for Peru, Julián Pérez Mallqui, was released shortly before 2:00 p.m. this Saturday, after the 48-hour detention period for an alleged allegation of violence against his former partner in the San Miguel district.

After being denounced by his former partner for alleged physical and psychological assault, the Juntos MP for Peru will face the process at large and he said he will "continue to collaborate" with the investigations.
