The Slovenian was surprised by Enric Mas on the final climb, who caught him, and then the two rivals also worked together in the finish. Pogačar then justified his role as the favorite in the finishing sprint and came to his third stage victory in this year's race and the sixth of his career at the Tour of Spain.
