The Viktoria Plzen officialized the purchase of Denis Vavro.
Pilsen have been strengthened by Slovak international Denis Vavro. The 30-year-old central defender transferred to Viktoria from second-division German Wolfsburg and signed a two-year contract at Štruncový sady. The West Bohemian first-division club announced this on its website.
Football club Plzeň has another reinforcement. A day after introducing defender Adam Gabriel, they have signed experienced centre-back Denis Vavro. The 30-year-old Slovak international, a participant in Euro 2024, comes from Wolfsburg, which was relegated to the second German league in the spring. He signed a two-year contract with Viktoria.
