PennDOT, Norfolk Southern reach agreement on expanded Amtrak service to Pittsburgh

PennDOT and Norfolk Southern Corporation inked a deal Friday to expand passenger rail service on the Pennsylvanian Amtrak line between New York and Pittsburgh via Harrisburg. The agreement will increase from once to twice daily the number of trains operating on that line.
