New parliamentary committees will have hearings after the final approval of the State budget.
The date was decided this Wednesday at a conference of parliamentary leaders. The perspective is that committees can request documentation and indicate people to be heard, with the hearings to be started after the OE2027 and with the other two parliamentary inquiries completed
Decision of the Conference of Leaders allows for four parliamentary committees of inquiry at the same time, but there is a expectation that the two already in operation will close in the short term.
The Conference of Leaders marked the inauguration of the ICCs and has already scheduled the evocative session of 25 November and the 50 years of the first local elections on 11 December.
The conference of leaders decided today that parliamentary committees of inquiry into national examinations and on Minister Luís Neves as former PJ national director will be installed next day 14.
