Packers CB Keisean Nixon (Shoulder) Questionable vs. Panthers
The cornerback is questionable with a shoulder injury, and the Packers may turn to Carrington Valentine or Benjamin St-Juste if he sits.
- The Green Bay Packers added two-time First-Team All-Pro cornerback Keisean Nixon to the injury report with a shoulder issue before Thursday night's home game against the Carolina Panthers, listing him as questionable.
- Through seven games, Nixon has been essential to the Packers' 4-3 start, recording 43 tackles while allowing zero touchdowns and a 72.0 passer rating as the team's top outside cornerback.
- If Nixon is unavailable, the Packers would likely turn to Carrington Valentine or Benjamin St-Juste to start opposite rookie Brandon Cisse, though the team did not elevate additional cornerbacks from the practice squad.
- Roughly 90 minutes before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, Green Bay will announce final inactives and Nixon's status, potentially marking his first missed game in more than four seasons.
- The Packers currently have only five cornerbacks on their 53-man roster; the team elevated edge rusher Arron Mosby from the practice squad before kickoff, signaling confidence in existing depth.
