'Our angel’: Stranger knocks on doors to warn RV park residents of approaching wildfire

Jamie Fisk called 911, brought water to firefighters and helped residents evacuate as flames returned to the area, park owners said.

  • On Thursday, Jamie Fisk alerted residents of the Holliday Outt Park in Oklahoma City to a wildfire, knocking on doors and honking her horn to ensure everyone evacuated safely.
  • Firefighters are investigating the fire, which has been deemed suspicious, while resident Dale Hibbs said they would have had "no idea" without Fisk's intervention.
  • "For some reason, my heart was telling me to come this way," Fisk said. She later returned to provide cases of water for Firefighters working at the scene.
  • Residents called her a "gift from above," while co-owner Rick Garrett said she exemplifies The Oklahoma Standard for ensuring no lives were lost during the emergency.
  • Fisk insists she was simply acting human, stating "I would want somebody to do the same thing for my family and friends." She continues supporting Residents with water as repairs proceed.
