Aid delivered to Gaza by airdrop as truck deliveries held up at border

Thousands of Palestinians gathered on the beaches of the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday to receive humanitarian aid dropped by planes. The aid came from seven planes, three from Jordan and one each from Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and France. Jordan's King Abdullah II personally participated in the operations of the Jordanian planes, according to Jordanian officials.
