WASHINGTON, D.C. — A new vaccine paired with Merck's immunotherapy appeared to move closer to approval after a late-stage trial showed positive early results against the deadliest form of skin cancer.
The US Merck and Moderna laboratories announced on Wednesday, August 19, positive results in the final phase of clinical trials of their skin cancer vaccine. This new treatment is based on messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) technology.
