BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Starting in the new year, a new Louisiana law will tighten the state's hemp industry rules. The change will affect THC drinks and edibles sold in stores.  Starting Jan. 1, gas stations can no longer sell hemp products and only bars and restaurants with existing hemp permits can continue selling THC drinks. No new licenses will be issued.
