Negotiations between the government of Serbia, employers and representative unions on the minimum wage for 2027, which according to the promises of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, should amount to 650 euros, will begin tomorrow, August 10.
The Secretary General of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ) told RTL Híradó that the conditions under which the minimum wage would increase by 14 percent next year based on a previous agreement have not been met. The head of the employers' interest group believes a single-digit increase is realistic. However, according to the trade union federation, even 14 percent is not enough.
The current minimum wage in Serbia is 550 euros, and at today's meeting the state proposed an increase to 600 euros. Unions claim to be government officials
