National writing tests halted after tech outage

- Secondary school principals reported logistical chaos as hundreds of Year 9 students returned to classes, and schools were told they can complete testing within the window to Monday, the 23rd of March.
- Since 2022, NAPLAN moved fully online after earlier trials and education ministers agreed 2023 reforms brought testing forward to March, speeding feedback amid 2024 failures, Mr Clare said.
