On the weekend, a 65-year-old woman's trip to Traunstein in Upper Austria ended with serious injuries. Already on her ascent, the woman crashed and her husband had to drop the emergency call. She was rescued with the rescue heli and flown to the hospital.
The woman went along with her husband over the Hernlersteig towards the summit of Traunstein, when she fell and badly injured.
