Florida State Falls at Louisville - Florida State University
Louisville erased a 14-0 deficit as Florida State fell to 3-3 and remained winless in 13 straight games away from home, officials said.
On Friday, the Florida State Seminoles fell 44-20 to Louisville, extending their road losing streak to 13 games and dropping their record to 3-3.
Trailing 14-0, Louisville stopped Florida State on fourth-and-goal at the 2-yard line; Cardinals running back Isaac Brown immediately exploded 97 yards for a touchdown on the next play.
Louisville finished with 537 total yards, including 397 on the ground, while Brown rushed for a career-high 235 yards on 17 carries, averaging 9.2 yards per carry.
Head coach Mike Norvell faces mounting pressure with a reportedly $51 million buyout, complicated by the athletic department's existing debt exceeding $430 million.
Norvell's team holds a 10-20 record over the last three seasons, and the Seminoles face a rivalry game next week needing to stabilize his tenure.
