A minor was taken by helicopter to a hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Miami Gardens, authorities said. According to the Miami Gardens police (MGPD), this is an 11-year-old boy who suffered a head injury. “The driver tried to dodge slow traffic driving over the lawn strip, when the vehicle crashed into a tree and then hit the minor,” they said.
