Meghan on TV Menu for 'Junior MasterChef Australia'
The revived cooking contest would mark Meghan Markle’s biggest TV role since leaving royal duties, with filming expected to last several weeks.
On Monday, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is reportedly set to co-host Junior MasterChef Australia, with the children's cooking competition returning to Channel Ten in 2027 after a six-year hiatus.
Meghan's guest appearance as a judge on MasterChef Australia in April established her franchise connection, where she was described as 'a passionate foodie with global influence' despite previously indicating she would not resume scripted acting.
Filming will take place in Melbourne over several weeks in early to mid-2027, with Meghan appearing alongside judge Poh Ling Yeow; sources suggest Prince Harry and their two children may accompany her to Australia.
The announcement coincides with renewed scrutiny of Meghan's estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr., after allegations made last week by Thomas Markle Jr. regarding child abuse material; the Duchess stated she was first made aware of 'troubling and disturbing' accusations in 2018.
Scotland Yard is currently 'reviewing the handling of this matter' following Meghan's expressed frustration with the Metropolitan Police, while Markle Sr. has denied the accusations as 'sick lies' made for money.
