Speaker to take more time to accept merger of UDP MLAs

Assembly Speaker Thomas Sangma will take more time to accept the merger of eight UDP MLAs with the BJP.The eight MLAs led by BJP legislator Sanbor Shullai met the Speaker on Tuesday ( Oct 13) to follow up on merger."We had sumitted the merger documents to the Assembly Secretariat in the absence of Speaker, we have come here to meet him and reiterate the merger", said  the leader of the group Lahkmen Rymbui, while speaking to reporters.
