Missing student Tanmay Wange was allegedly harassed by fellow students, including Utkarsh Singh and Shreya Yadav. His father, Ajaykumar Wange, filed complaints with police and the college administration.
Last year, the grandson of Symbiosis founder Sh.B. Majumdar was subjected to ragging at B. J. Medical College. Due to this, he went into depression. After that, three resident doctors were suspended. While the head of the orthopedic department, Dr. Shirish Bartakke, was also transferred.
