MDA Space to provide lunar landing sensors for space mission
MDA Space will supply two flight units of its LEIA LiDAR sensor for Argonaut’s first lunar landing mission, the company said.

- The Argonaut programme, led by the European Space Agency, represents Europe's first independent lunar landing capability, with the Lunar Descent Element developed by Thales Alenia Space, a joint venture between Thales and Leonardo .
- MDA Space will supply two flight units of its LEIA Light Detection and Ranging sensor, which enables autonomous landing by identifying hazards with a 40-degree field of view in five seconds.
