An 80-year-old woman who was struck and killed by a car in Norwood earlier this month is being remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.Norwood resident Ellen Murray Kana was in the area of Garfield Avenue and Pleasant Street around 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 1 when she was hit by a car, the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office said previously. She was declared dead at the scene, and the driver involved in the crash remained nearby.
