Man’s Earlobe Bitten Off in Unprovoked Train Station Car Park Attack

British Transport Police says two men may have information after a serious assault left a victim with part of his earlobe bitten off.

  • At approximately 7.20pm on Friday, June 26, two men allegedly attacked a victim in the Chichester car park in what was believed to be an unprovoked assault; one reportedly bit off the victim's earlobe.
  • Bystanders intervened to stop the assault, and the injured victim was subsequently taken to hospital for medical treatment. Officers are now seeking to identify the two individuals.
  • Detectives are urging anyone who recognizes the men to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, using reference 705 when providing information.
  • Information can also be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111. Officers continue investigating to identify the men shown in the released images.
