Magna: Q2 Earnings Snapshot
Magna lifted adjusted earnings guidance as quarterly sales rose 3.3% to $10.98 billion and profit topped analyst estimates, Reuters and LSEG data showed.
Magna International raised its 2026 adjusted profit forecast on Friday following a second-quarter earnings beat, citing improving demand from a stream of new launches.
Quarterly sales grew 3.3% to $11.0 billion as Magna International Inc. reported profit attributable to the company of $469 million, up from $379 million a year earlier.
Adjusted earnings reached $1.86 per share in the quarter, surpassing the $1.50 analyst expectation and improving from $1.44 earned per share a year earlier.
Despite the earnings beat, Magna lowered its annual sales target to $41.3 billion to $42.5 billion, down from the prior forecast of $41.5 billion to $43.1 billion.
Magna expects 2026 adjusted profit to range between $6.70 and $7.30 per share, relying on new launches to offset lower global light vehicle production as electrification demand mellows.
