Director M. Night Shyamalan attended a trial for allegations that he plagiarized an independent production in the making of the series “Servant”, which he produced alongside Apple TV+. Italian director Francesca Gregorini sued the filmmaker and Apple in a lawsuit of US$ 81 million for the alleged theft of aspects of her series, “The Truth About Emanuel”, released in 2013.
