Minister of Internal Administration spoke on the topic at Ponte de Sor, where he participated in a 100-year anniversary ceremony of the Corps of Firefighters of Ponte de Sor.
Luís Neves expects demonstrations to take place within normality and legality. Still, the President of the Republic says he is concerned about the temptation of the parties to want to vote.
Minister of Internal Administration had already spoken this Friday about the protests, admitting political responsibility for police interventions in the camps of Lisbon and Porto, but at the same time guaranteeing the total technical, tactical and operational autonomy of the PSP.
Asked about the protests planned for Saturday, the minister replied that he hoped that he would have all the peace and respect for the demonstration and for all the rights and reasons underlying the demonstration.
"I hope that everything will take place within normality and legality," Luís Neves told journalists.
