Lufthansa and cabin crew union reach a pay deal to end string of German aviation dispute

Nearly 19,000 cabin crew will receive a 17.4% pay rise in three stages under a three-year deal, with a one-time payment of 3,000 euros per person to offset inflation. Some bonuses will also be increased.
The UFO union will present the deal, which surpasses their initial request of a 15% raise over 18 months, for a member vote. Talks are ongoing for staff at Lufthansa subsidiaries Cityline and Discover.
The agreement excludes employees at Cityline and Discover, where negotiations are still in progress.
