No. 9 Alabama Expects to Get Star WR Ryan Coleman-Williams Back After 2-Game Absence
Nick Saban said Alabama could regain three injured contributors, with the Crimson Tide facing a game that could shape College Football Playoff hopes.
- The Alabama Crimson Tide expects Ryan Coleman-Williams, Racin Delgatty, and Terrance Green to return for Saturday's matchup against LSU after all three were upgraded on the SEC injury report Friday.
- Recovering from separate injuries, Coleman-Williams, Delgatty, and Green missed Alabama's past two games. Coleman-Williams underwent arthroscopic knee surgery following a hit against Georgia, while Delgatty and Green dealt with lower leg and ankle issues.
- Nick Saban said on 'The Pat McAfee Show' that getting the center, wide receiver, and nose guard back will help. He noted the team must overcome LSU's "very good team" and the challenging environment.
- Both Alabama and LSU hold identical 6-2 records, making Saturday's game critical for College Football Playoff contention. A third loss could effectively eliminate the defeated team from postseason consideration.
- Quarterback Keelon Russell faces a top-ranked LSU defense allowing just 172.8 passing yards per game in Baton Rouge. Russell, who ranks fifth in QBR with 2,057 yards this season, must maintain consistency against the Tigers' pressure.
