After Swedish media reported on attempts to damage the NordBalt submarine power cable connecting Lithuania and Sweden, Energy Minister Žygimantas Vaičiūnas does not rule out that such repeated attacks against critical infrastructure in the Baltic Sea may be an attempt to compromise the synchronization of the Baltic countries' power grids with continental Europe, scheduled for February.
