Johnson County Schools move forward with proposed property tax increase
JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WSIP) – The Johnson County Board of Education is moving forward with a proposed property tax increase. The board unanimously approved raising the district’s tax rate by seven-tenths of a cent, from 61 cents to 61-point-7 cents per 100 dollars of assessed property value during a special meeting Monday evening.
