Once again, just under 152,000 people from Linz will have to elect a mayor on Sunday. After none of those who took part in the first ballot two weeks ago achieved an absolute majority, there was a runoff vote between the current managing SPÖ Vice Mayor Dietmar Prammer and FPÖ City Councillor Michael Raml. The 215 polling stations are open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The voter turnout, which was just 42.2 percent on January 12, will be exciting.
