- Responders say the crash occurred around 8:50 a.m.; the bus operator was taken to a local hospital, and both drivers sustained minor injuries.
- The sheriff's office pledged stepped-up patrols, with Sheriff Carmine Marceno posting `I can ensure our Traffic Unit and 4th Precinct deputies have increased patrols in this area and will not tolerate reckless driving of any kind.`
