The Girne District Court granted a seven-day extension of detention for the nine suspects, including the captain, first mate, crew members, and company employee, who are in custody in connection with the passenger ship that sank off the coast of Girne. The court also issued arrest warrants for five other suspects in the same investigation. Families of the missing persons waited outside the courthouse to express their outrage.
