Kim Kardashian Had ‘Gun Pointed at Her Head’ During Terrifying Kanye West Trip
The biography says local police were called after Kanye West grew agitated, and one officer allegedly pointed a gun at Kim Kardashian.
- On Tuesday, journalist Jonathan Van Meter released Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future, detailing an alleged 2018 Uganda incident where Kim Kardashian had a gun held to her head during a trip with then-husband Kanye West.
- Executive producer Farnaz Farjam stated that Kanye West became 'paranoid and agitated' during the trip, falsely believing people were trying to drug him and prompting him to involve local police.
- Farjam described the confrontation as 'intense,' noting West ordered police to raid rooms; at one point, 'one of the policemen had a gun to Kim's head' before she evacuated the crew by private jet.
- Despite the confrontation, Farjam forgave West for the 'Africa fiasco,' attributing his behavior to his bipolar disorder and believing he was in a 'manic place' at the time.
- This incident echoes Kardashian's 2016 Paris robbery, where she was also held at gunpoint; she has previously urged 'compassion' and 'empathy' regarding West's mental health struggles.
